Hepworth Building Products (now part of the Wavin Group) choose ATMS WMS System

Hepworth Building Products (now part of the Wavin Group) has placed a major order with UK based ATMS plc for the implementation of a 25 user plus Warehouse Management System (WMS) for its expanding distribution facility in Doncaster.

The ATMS StockTrackPLUS (STP) Warehouse Management System will control all aspects of the warehousing and distribution operation including management of the trailer yard. The system will optimize the narrow aisle zone being installed, and will also control the picking and packing operation, including control of their multi-staged packing process.

Steve Fountain, Hepworth Building Products distribution manager said: “We selected ATMS after an intensive market evaluation.  ATMS was selected not only because of the company’s product and service offering but also because of their willingness to work in true partnership with us as part of our project team to deliver a major re-development of the company’s distribution facilities, which also includes new racking and mechanical handling equipment.

“ATMS listened closely to fully understand our requirements and is keen to develop its product and service offerings to meet our future needs.  Consideration was also given to ATMS’ skills in system integration and incorporation of latest technologies such as voice and RF-ID in making our decision”.

ATMS plc is UK based and owned, and is globally represented with offices in Dubai, China, Singapore and Belgium.
